WordPress Developer Job Overview:
We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to design, implement, and maintain attractive and functional websites for our company. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.
We desire an in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer to create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of our Marketing team.
How you’ll make an impact:
Designing and building the website front-end
Creating the website architecture
Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
Generating and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins
Monitor and upgrade page speed and core web vitals to improve SEO performance
Conducting website performance tests
Troubleshooting content issues
Monitoring the performance of the live website
A general understanding of ADA website regulations
What you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field, or equivalent work experience
Proven work experience as a WordPress developer
Proven experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5
Strong MySQL skills
Proven experience using Git for code versioning
Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector
Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
Ability to manage projects and work well within a team
