WordPress Developer

My client is seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer to join their team and take on the responsibility of rebuilding an existing CMS platform and building new web features using PHP. The company is a 50 person IT consulting firm located in Rhode Island. They specialize in developing and implementing digital transformation and modernization strategies for companies large and small.

As a WordPress Developer on the team you will work with the design team to create responsive, visually appealing websites, and optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coding and possess the technical skills necessary to build robust web applications.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with web development frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symphony.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
• Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
