Open for remote candidates, with a preference for local to the twin cities
1-2 month long engagement with an opportunity for additional work in the future
open for part time or full time hours
Single project focused on optimizing, editing, and potentially re-building aspects of two WordPress sites for a MN non profit
Client is looing to interview asap, and make a hiring decision allowing someone to get started early November
Responsibilities Overview:
If you have a strong understanding of the web and are capable of creating a multitude of projects for it, Robert Half has an opening for a Web Developer like you.
– Pilot and code creative solutions on the WordPress content management system
– Team up with key partners to supply on-time, tested and reusable code in a rapidly changing environment
– Work through complex business processes and generate accessible solutions using best of breed tools
– Identify business needs and come up with answers that support the company goals
– Collaborate with leaders and others to design ideal solutions
Preferred Skills & Experience:
– WordPress Plugin experience preferred
-HTML CSS JavaScript, and other front end languages preferred
– A real enthusiasm for developing end-to-end solutions that power a positive user experience
– Record of caring for the technical needs of sites, apps and integrations with high volume traffic
– Familiarity with server-side languages
– Rooted understanding of how a mobile user experience differs from the experience on a web or other application
– Serious knowledge of compatibility and cross-browser issues
– Solid understanding of WordPress
– 2+ years experience with both front-end and back-end technologies in a B2B or B2C web production environment
– Knowledge of various web languages and the ability to move quickly from project mockups into full-fledge versions in that software
